El-Rufai Was A Product Of Ex-President Buhari - Shehu Sani

Nigerians on social media have reacted to a photo of Governor Nasir El-rufai of Kaduna State kneeling before President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday at the Aso Rock villa.

Naija News reports that President Muhammadu Buhari was on Tuesday briefed by Governor Nasir El-rufai of Kaduna State on the killing of innocent citizens in the state.

The President received the governor and the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The governor stated that he came to brief the president on the gruesome murder of 40 persons in his state and asked him to deploy more security forces to the state.

El-rufai asserted that the recent declaration of bandits as terrorists has given the military more power to wage war against them.

However, Nigerians uninterested in his statement, rather were keen to know why the governor had knelt down while meeting with the president today.

Others threw jabs at the governor for such gesture.

Here are some of the reactions culled by Naija News:

Where else in the world have you seen a fellow politician kneel to the president if not in Nigeria? Now tell me, does this person have the best interests for his constituents or is he simply looking out for himself and his political career? What a shame.”
