Recruitment: Police Release Schedule For Medical Screening

The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed dates for commencement of medical screening for successful candidates in the recently concluded Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the ongoing 2020 recruitment of Constables into the Force.

The next stage of the exercise according to the force would hold between November 23 to December 6 and would be conducted by the Nigeria Police Medical services.

Naija News reports that the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), Mr Frank Mba in a statement issued in Abuja on Friday said the screening process will hold at 8:00 am and 3 pm daily at the designated Police clinics and hospitals in the 17 Police zonal commands across the country.

Mba charged candidates who participated in the CBT to check their application status on the recruitment portal, www.policerecruitment.gov.ng and print out their medical screening slip if qualified.

According to him, candidates are to appear at the various screening venues in their clean white T-shirts and shorts.

He added that the candidates must come along with their National Identity Card/Slip and print out the medical screening slip (as obtained from the portal).

Mba urged candidates to stick to their allotted date and time as the exercise would be carried out in strict compliance with the COVID-19 prevention protocols.

He reiterated that the recruitment exercise is free while the medical screening would be conducted in the best tradition of transparency and professionalism.

Mba cautioned the applicants to be wary of online fraudsters and other criminal elements who would want to take advantage of the recruitment process to defraud them.

He warned that criminals would be arrested and prosecuted, advising candidates to call 08100004507 for any inquiry, especially on the operations of the portal.
