JUST IN: Former Governorship Aspirant In Ondo State Dies

A former governorship aspirant in Ondo State, southwest Nigeria, Comrade Dayo Fadahunsi is dead.

Naija News understands that Fadahunsi who was a former Labour Party (LP) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in Ondo State, died on Tuesday morning, November 3 after a brief illness, according to a family source.

Before his death, Fadahunsi was a former Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Ondo State, southwest Nigeria and Special Adviser on Union matters to former Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko.

He was also a former governorship aspirant in the Ondo 2020 governorship election and former Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Ondo State.
