Ogun: Abiodun Nominates TASUED VC As Commissioner, Makes Other Appointments (Full List)

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun has forwarded the names of Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu and Waheed Odusile to the State House of Assembly for confirmation as Commissioners.

This was made known by the media aide to Governor Abiodun, Kunle Somorin.

Arigbabu will head the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, while Odusile will preside over the Ministry of Information.

Arigbabu is the Vice-Chancellor of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Ijagun, Ogun State.

He was at different times Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Dean of Students Affairs of the institution.

The Professor of Mathematics holds a PhD from the University of South Africa, Pretoria.

Odusile is a former President of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), and ex-President of the Federation of African Journalists (FAJ).

He was the pioneer Editor of National Life Newspaper and Managing Editor of The Nation.

The Ogun governor also appointed Fola Onifade as General Manager, State Signage and Advertising Agency; and Sesan Asenuga as GM, Parks and Garages Development Board.

Tolu Bankole was named Senior Special Assistant to the Governor and Ifekayode Akinbode will serve as Consultant on Media.
