2023: Deji Adeyanju Reacts To 'Attack' On Kwankwaso In Kogi

Deji Adeyanju, a human rights activist, has claimed that northern members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will not back the presidential ambition of Bola Tinubu.

The activist was responding to Femi Fani-Kayode, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who had earlier attacked Tinubu over his (Tinubu) broadcast ahead of the Saturday’s governorship election in Edo State.

Recall that Tinubu had in a broadcast urged Edo people not to vote Governor Godwin Obaseki of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The former Lagos State governor called on electorates to cast their votes for the candidate of his party, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

But Fani-Kayode in a post on Twitter described the broadcast as nothing but comic relief.

He warned that Tinubu’s anti-Obaseki diatribe may cost Pastor Ize-Iyamu the governorship election.

Adding his voice, Deji Adeyanju said that APC members from the core north, who are nursing ambitions to become President in 2023, are laughing at Tinubu.

“The irony of it all is that the core Northerners in APC with presidential ambitions are laughing at him.”
