Tinubu Gets Two Names Suggestion For CBN Gov, Emefiele's Replacement

All Progress Congress (APC) Chieftain and former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has been accused of plotting to impeach Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki.

The allegation was made in a statement on Saturday, August 9 by the National Vice Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the South-South, Dan Orbih, Naija News understands.

The politician accused Jagaban of secret plots to impeach the incumbent governor of Edo, and as well as having hand in the ongoing crisis rocking the Edo State House of Assembly.

According to Orbih, Tinubu is making efforts by dictating terms for Obaseki’s impeachment. He, however, noted that citizens of the state would not dance to the political beats of the ex-governor.

“I also want to state here that his style of politics in the South-West is not attractive to Edo people,” Orbih noted.

He added, “It doesn’t make any sense for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to sit down in the comfort of his home, drawing up grounds for impeachment for the elected governor of Edo State.

“Reading through his statement, I have come to the conclusion that certainly, he is not aware of the issues concerning the unfortunate incident at the state House of Assembly. I should expect, as a former governor of Lagos State, he should know better.”

Naija News recalls that the crisis in the Edo State House has resulted into the impeachment of the House Speaker, Frank Okiye and the Deputy Speaker on the same day.
