Arsenal Set To Bid For Ryan Fraser

Arsenal are preparing to make a formal bid for Scotland international Ryan Fraser, according to The Independent.

English Premier League rivals, Manchester United are reported to have dropped their interest.

Fraser has been linked with a number of sides over recent weeks as he prepares to enter the final 12 months of his contract.

Don’t Sell Ozil – Wright Tells Arsenal

Gunners legend Ian Wright has advised Arsenal not to sell Mesut Ozil despite the German’s inconsistent form and high salary.

The north London club are keen to reduce their wage bill this summer with the exit of Danny Welbeck, Aaron Ramsey and Petr Cech.

However, Wright thinks selling one of their most creative players would be a bad move.

Arsenal Transfer Targets Want Champions League Assurance

Arsenal head of football Raul Sanllehi has said the club is in a strong position in the transfer market but qualification for the Champions League could be a decisive factor in whether they are able to secure top targets.

Arsenal can qualify for the UCL if they beat Chelsea in the Europa League final on May 29, but will miss out if they lose after finishing fifth in the Premier League.

Gunners manager Unai Emery spent close to £70 million during his first summer in charge, signing Lucas Torreira, Bernd Leno, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Matteo Guendouzi, and Sanllehi has said the manager has been working with Arsenal’s scouts in drawing up possible signings ahead of next season.
