Arsenal fans joyous as Unai Emery is spotted at Atletico Madrid game

All eyes at Arsenal are now on the Europa League final with the Premier League season coming to an end last weekend.

Finishing outside the top four by a single point after a nightmare set of results in the final few weeks, the Gunners can still qualify for next season’s Champions League providing they beat Chelsea in the final in Baku.

Arsenal haven’t featured in the competition since the 2016/17 campaign and they will be hoping that Unai Emery can work his usual magic in the Europa League final come Wednesday, May 29.

Well, the Spaniard has today been spotted in his home country taking in the game between Levante and Atletico Madrid.

The La Liga season comes to an end this weekend and it appears that the head coach is already plotting for next season.

Arsenal have been linked with Atleti midfielder Thomas Partey recently and many fans believe Emery is keeping tabs on him ahead of a potential summer move.

Arsenal star Lucas Torreira makes surprise transfer admission that will concern supporters

Arsenal star Lucas Torreira has revealed he plans to leave the Gunners in the future to move to South American giants Boca Juniors.

The Uruguayan international joined Arsenal last summer from Sampdoria for a fee in the region of £26million and has caught the eye in his first campaign in the Premier League.

Born in Fray Bentos, Uruguay, the midfielder was speaking this week about future career plans and the topic of Boca Juniors arose.

The midfielder confessed he follows the Argentine league and intended to try and catch Boca’s match against Velez Sarsfield after attending the Copa Libertadores final against River Plate in Madrid.

ARSENAL MOVE FOR MAN UTD TARGET

Arsenal are ready to meet the £31m release clause of Roma defender Kostas Manolas in order to sign him this summer, a report claims.

Unai Emery is expected to try and reinforce his back line this summer, and Manolas could prove to be a good value-for-money option.

This is thanks to the €36m release clause in his contract, which – despite doubts over how much budget Arsenal will have – seems like a bargain price.
