More than 500 PDP members have allegedly been arrested all over Ekiti State by the Police believed to be sympathetic to the All Progressive Congress APC

Olayinka accused the police, who he believes were backed by “APC desperadoes willing to take the State by force” of apprehending people who have as little as N2000 on them of holding cash and some of them are being accused of armed robbery and stealing.

Lere, however, insisted that despite the use of Federal might to intimidate the people of the state, the People are stubbornly behind PDP and its candidate, Prof Kolapo Olusola and we are sure of wining the election, except INEC decided to just allocate figures to the APC.

“We therefore urge Ekiti people not to be intimidated by the army of occupation laying siege on the State presently.

“People holding as little as N2,000 are being arrested for holding cash and some of them are being accused of armed robbery and stealing.
