The youth group of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP known as the PDP Youth Frontier has called on the relevant authorities to arrest the acting chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Magu for alleged corruption.

The PDPNYF says Magu has failed the integrity test and should resign.

PDPNYF has urged the Senate to make public the security report by the Department of State Services (DSS) used against the EFCC boss so that relevant authorities could arrest him immediately.

The group in a series of tweets also called on President Muhammadu Buhari to replace Magu with a better candidate on the grounds that the acting EFCC boss has failed the integrity test following his rejection by the Senate.

Below are some of the tweets by the PDP group calling for the prosecution of Magu:

Meanwhile, the federal government may have made up its mind to retain Ibrahim Magu, the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) even if he is not confirmed by the Senate.

This much is coming from Professor Itse Sagay, the chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee on Corruption.

Premium Times quoted Sagay as saying in the current edition of The Interview that: “Whether they like it or not, he (Magu) will be there. His chairmanship will keep on being renewed.
